Absolutely! At COSLC, we love welcoming children and families. We offer Sunday School, seasonal programs, kids sermons every Sunday, and a variety of fun and faith-filled events throughout the year—including Easter activities, Vacation Bible School, service projects, and more. Yes! We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday, because everyone is welcome at Jesus’ table, regardless of age, background, or church membership.

There are so many ways to get connected at COSLC — whether you're looking to grow spiritually, serve others, or build relationships. We currently have a special need for volunteers both within the church and for Birdie’s Box, our outreach ministry that provides essentials to those in need. You can also get involved through worship support, Bible studies, outreach projects, and ministries like Healing Hearts, our grief support group. Whatever makes you feel comfortable! At COSLC, you’ll see a little bit of everything—some people dress up, others come in jeans and a sweatshirt. There’s no dress code and no pressure. Whether you're in your Sunday best or wearing what you rolled out of bed in, you’ll be greeted with the same warmth and welcome. We care more about you being here than what you’re wearing. Just come as you are — you belong.

No. While we are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), all are welcome—regardless of background, tradition, or where you are on your faith journey. Whether you’re exploring Christianity for the first time, returning after some time away, or looking for a church home, you are invited to worship, grow, and serve with us.
